Facility Details
Harrell Memorial Park is a children’s playground which includes play equipment for all ages. There are also tennis courts connected to the park. Since this park is diagonally across the street from Hankins Park, restrooms are within walking distance. Harrell Memorial Park is located at 108 East Ashe Street.
Private events are welcome to reserve the gazebo and anchored tables at the below rates. Public events may reserve the park at no fee but must obtain a special event permit by filling out the application at burgawnc.gov/sep. Reservation of the park does not guarantee approval of special event permit. Please go to burgawnc.gov/sep or contact recreation@burgawnc.gov to initiate this process.
Harrell Park can be rented for $15.00 per hour (3 hr. min) (8:00 am - 7:00 pm) for residents and $25 per hour for non-residents

Note:
Please refer to the below regulations.
-The use of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs is prohibited at all times when using Town facilities.
-No glass containers of any kind are allowed inside the park boundaries.
-All trash must be placed in the proper receptacles.
-Dogs must be on a leash at all times and pet waste removed by completion of the event.
-Nailing or stapling of decorations on Town property is not permitted.
-No inflatables are permitted in Town parks.
-No grills are allowed within 10 feet of the shelters.
